Dalila Alegria

Lifelong Aurora resident, Dalila Alegria, is an active volunteer and board member for a number of civic, cultural, and local organizations including the Rockford Council St. Vincent de Paul Society, the Dominican Literacy Center Advisory Board, Compañeros en Salud (Partners in Health) – Aurora, and the Aurora Hispanic Heritage Advisory Board. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management from Northern Illinois University and an MBA in Human Resource Management from Aurora University.

Dalila is currently working with INC Board and has been with them since 2016. In early 2019, she was named the organization’s fourth Executive Director. Dalila has coordinated a number of significant operational, financial, and technological enhancements across the INC Board organization. She helped coordinate INC’s new 3-year strategic planning process, negotiated provider agreements, and established new funding and outcome analyses. Dalila previously worked for the Fox Valley United Way in their SPARK Early Childhood Collaboration and was as a senior program manager for a local private college.
